“Music Everywhere”

Moving design

At the DomQuartier in Salzburg, “Music Everywhere” illuminates the glorious musical tradition of Salzburg. Forster supplied the digital prints and lenticular panels to Studio Kudlich, designers of the exhibition, for their tour of musical exploration.

The Prince-Archbishops of Salzburg were famous for celebrating sumptuous feasts. Many displays and floor totems, printed on black forex of a thickness of 5 mm, bring those back to life – exactly where they were held: in the state rooms of the Residence and Cathedral precinct. The sensitive and congruous atmosphere derives from the display panels covered with adhesive film. They draw visitors’ attention, especially when they are fitted with a lenticular image which changes on walking past them. There are four of them and their size is extraordinary: at a height of up to 2,350 mm, the figures are larger than life in all respects.
